Together with all our supporters we will welcome the Sea-Watch 5 into the civil fleet on the first weekend of November! On November 5th and 6th, we invite all supporters to Hamburg to join the conversation and board the ship. In addition to thematic tours of the Sea-Watch 5, there will be other exciting programme items:
Come to the performance of “No one is coming except the waves – a scenic reading”!
This performative piece focuses on people’s journeys across the Mediterranean to Europe. The reading includes original radio recordings from the reconnaissance aircraft of Sea-Watch as well as calls from the NGO Alarm Phone with the people aboard the boats, also including poetry by those who have had to flee.

Watch the premiere of the new short film “Seabird” about our Civilian aerial reconnaissance operations!
With our aircraft Seabird 1 & Seabird 2, we could fly countless operations over the central Mediterranean this year. The Black Forest Collective also accompanied our activists for several months, resulting in the production of a compelling short film which will now be shown publicly for the first time at the Überseebrücke. The aircraft crew looks forward to your questions in the Q&A section afterward.
