With the larger ship, demands on our voluntary crews are also growing. Our new partner, the ISC Training & Assembly GmbH, offers them the opportunity to prepare themselves for possible risks and scenarios during the next missions on the Sea-Watch 3 in a professional security training tailored to our work. During our first, intensive training weekend in Rostock, we did many practical exercises in addition to theoretical units. 17 volunteers trained fire fighting in a modern fire-simulation system, rescue of persons from the water, and the handling of life rafts, survival suits and pyrotechnic signals.
We would like to thank the team of ISC for volunteering and we are looking forward to working with them in the future! Support such as this makes our missions possible, but you can also help us to save human lives at the world’s deadliest border!
You will find more supporters here, maybe your Company also wants to get involved in supporting our work in the Mediterranean?
