Design contest

Pride Design Contest!

Help us spread awareness and create a design in solidarity with queer people on the move!

You don’t need to be a professional graphic designer or a great artist to participate. Every idea could be the winning one!

The topic:

It’s my birth right to be here – it’s my birth right to be queer!

Your design: You can use any technique you prefer. Graphic design softwares, markers, pencils, and anything else that comes to mind.

The theme: In 66 states across the world, being queer is considered a crime punishable by severe penalties, ranging from imprisonment to the death penalty. This reason drives many people to flee, crossing the Mediterranean in search of freedom. With this design, we want to raise awareness on the stories of these people, who risk their lives to finally be free to be themselves.
If you want to learn more about our activities, visit our website!

Submission: You can submit as many designs as you want.
Size: DIN A2 (420 × 594 mm)
Colours: Use a maximum of 6 colours
Formats: JPEG, PSD, AI or SVG

Send your design to contest@sea-watch.org by Sunday, May 19th 2024.

What then?

  1. The selection will be made by Sea-Watch activists.
  2. We are going to pick one design, and print it on a t-shirt that will be distributed in the Sea-Watch Shop during the pride month!

All profits generated will directly contribute to the activities of Sea-Watch e.V. We will ensure sustainability and fair trade in the production of all featured items.

We can't wait to see your creativity in action!
