On September 28 and 29, 2024, Sea-Watch and Ink Against Borders cordially invite you to the second INK AGAINST BORDERS Tattoo Convention. Following last year’s success, around 50 FLINTA* tattoo artists will be offering exclusive tattoos over two days in support of civil search and rescue. The event will feature a side program with testimonials and background information on the current situation in the Mediterranean.
Following, the decentralized and nationwide INK AGAINST BORDERS donation campaign will start in October 2024, in which artists throughout Germany collect donations and join the queerfeminist network. The INK AGAINST BORDERS network consists of WLINTA* artists and was founded last year to support Sea-Watch with their work.
All proceeds of the campaign will be donated to Sea-Watch. The donation target is set at 40,000 euros to finance 35 flight hours for monitoring missions over the Mediterranean Sea.
Venue: Alte Münze, Berlin
Date: September 28 and 29, 2024, 12-8 p.m.
