Because some donors have asked for it. Sea-Watch has no intention to hold cryptocurrencies or to speculate with them. We transfer the money into fiat currency (Euro) as soon as possible to use it. This way you can be sure that your donation goes directly to saving lives.
Important note: For anonymous donations, no donation receipt can be issued from our side. In Germany, donations with cryptocurrencies (such as Bitcoin and Co.) are classified as donations in kind.
